Hosted By Oak Park Climate Action Network:

See what your Oak Park neighbors are doing to power their homes cleaner, safer, cheaper, and greener! Check out heat pump HVAC and hot water systems, induction stoves, solar arrays, and more. Homeowners will be on hand to share their experience and answer your questions. Three different houses will be open on each of two days:

This event is free, but registration is required and space is limited! Presented by Oak Park Climate Action Network.

Sunday, March 9, 2-4pm, featuring:

  • 1910 Hulbert house, wood frame with siding, c.1600 sq ft on 2 levels: upgraded with heat pump and mini-split HVAC

  • 1911 wood frame + stucco, 2400 sq ft on 3 levels: upgraded with thermal and photovoltaic solar arrays, tankless HWH, induction stove, and nature-based solutions

  • 1918 4-square, stucco, 2620 sq ft, fully electrified with rooftop solar and geothermal system, heat pump HVAC, electric appliances, repurposed or renewable finishes, gray water system, and nature-based solutions
